His dad founded Hamas, he was arrested by the IDF smuggling weapons I think. When he got out of prison Hamas put him into their prison and tortured him for over a year and executed others who were with him. He then defected.

You are arguing semantics in an effort to dehumanize them when their behavior is sufficient enough. Arguing that Palestine doesn't exist because no sovereign nation has been called "Palestine" is completely irrelevant to the situation. It detracts from the valid reasons to dislike them, because it makes people think you are just making up reasons to dislike them.
When I worked in a restaurant as a kid, we would get complaints that would criticize the food or service, but then they would throw in "and you don't serve the soda I like." Those complaints went into the trash because we knew they were Karens. The other complaints, the valid ones that focused on real issues, we took seriously.

You are just factually incorrect. Since the 12th century BCE the term “Peleset” (Palestine) was used, first by Egypt, to describe a geographical location.
The term Palestine wasn’t used as a political term until the British Mandate and wasn’t used as a political identity or rationale for yet another Arab state until after 1964 and it was mostly because Arabs in the British Mandate hate Jews.
