The most Looney Toons part of that post is that an incumbent GOP Senator in a very GOP state was going to win by a wide margin. Trump's endorsement barely moved the needle

Exactly. Trump can yap all day long about not endorsing whichever Republican gets the nomination in Alabama to replace Shelby...they'll win anyway.

Obviously Trump’s endorsement isn’t needed to beat a dem in a red state. You do realize that states, red states in particular, have a pool of republican candidates that is greater than 1? His endorsement is potentially yuuuuge on WHICH republican wins.
