The flu doesn’t come close. And the person hospitalized was 55 years old

I do think that the new treatments they are using are a big help to the mortality rate

Honestly, if you think that Trump (who was getting impeached at the time, yet assembled the CV19 Task Force and shut down travel from the epicenter the instant it was declared a pandemic) could have prevented an airborne pathogen that affected and infected every developed country on earth, you are beyond naive and have been gaslighted beyond hope.

He won't answer this with anything fact based, because he literally cannot.

He may scream and tell you that you are mean and shouldn't be able to make a living anymore, so get ready.

The virus wasn't that bad. What's the issue? He said it was but played it down? Or it was overblown by everyone?

You should be grateful for modern medicine and the facilities provided by the American taxpayer that you and your family took advantage of. You are a walking testimony that the virus isn't that bad and you should be preaching that, but you aren't cause you are a little sheep

“Isn’t that bad” is a very incorrect statement.

It was very bad for her. Something she otherwise wouldn’t have dealt with.

This is nonsense of the highest order.
“If there wasn’t a virus, she wouldn’t have had the virus.”
Seriously. Stop posting on this board and go back to soccer or TV or whatever shite board you usually post on. You’re a moron and a shill.

They're throwing every lie they can think of at him. Hoping some of it will stick.

President Trump is a leader. They (ChiComs, Anti-American activist in Congress and on the street) do not want a leader in the Oval Office. They want someone they can manipulate. They just want a body in that Oval Office. Those lurking in the shadows are the ones that will actually lead. Biden will open his mouth, but it will be the ChiComs and their far left democrat pals who actually speak.

The truth is Obama and Biden sold their souls to the ChiComs. Obama let China become the world manufacturing leader by allowing thousands of American manufacturing jobs go to China. Then he had the audacity to tell American workers those jobs were NEVER coming back to America.
I was appalled when I learned that America depends on China for its critical medications. President Trump is bringing those pharmaceutical factories BACK to America.....where they belong.

MAGA!

I’ll tell you what, you can come over when she’s fully recovered and tell her husband, handicapped son, my wife and I how it “isn’t that bad” from your viewpoint. How about that?

On the whole, the virus isn’t that bad.
Sorry you had a bad experience and I’m happy your family ultimately recovered.

That doesn’t change anything though. It’s not that bad as a general rule and to continue to shut lives down despite knowing this, is criminal.

Yea but if they didn’t shut down a lot more people would die because no one wants to wear a mask so they’re kinda in a bad position. I don’t like how either sides been handling this virus though.

Statistically it "isn't that bad". A very small percentage have tested positive, even a smaller percentage required hospitalization, and even a smaller percentage died.

Would I be pissed if someone I cared about suffered from it and even died. Damn right I would but people die every day of something. I might not make it through the day, it happens.

You people are fricking stupid.

Nobody knew the precise outcome in March. They knew a RANGE of possible outcomes.

Managing to the worst case scenario in every "crisis" is not sustainable. We would be shutting the country down every few years.

As it was there was nothing that could have been done faster than what was done. Layering on panic at that point would have been idiocy.

Nobody else was panicked either, including the "experts".

If there was a golden bullet that cost trillions and Trump did it and hardly anybody died, what would the reaction have been? It would have been "Why did Trump panic?"

Seriously, frick you, managing the country to mass panic is the stupidest idea leftists have had yet.

Disagree.
At this point we know what the high risk groups are and the focus should be on educating everyone on what the high risk groups should do.

The idea that everyone is equally effected and equally at risk is absurd.
This has been handled with PC gloves as to not offend or outrage anyone, but the obese, elderly, diabetics, people with heart disease, asthmatics are disproportionately at risk for the worse case scenario.
Young, healthy people don’t assume the same risk with this.

Why on earth would these directives apply to everyone across the board? Shut everything down? Why?

It’s political in the way it’s being led.
