I believe governments have a responsibility to be good stewards over the money collected, and to not waste it or spend it on things that are not God-honoring and serving of its citizens, but taxation is not theft in the same way that just capital punishment for crimes is not murder.

Trump doesnt have the power to do it. Congress controls the purse and will NEVER vote for less income for themselves to spend. Simply won't happen.

They control what’s already been collected/printed. Trump controls the IRS through the Internal Revenue Commissioner appointed by him.
He could make this happen through him and dare Congress to oppose him.

That would be great however he also needs to push for the elimination of property taxes. It's straight up theft.
