When an overwhelming majority of Democrats are against something that 80-90% of the population is in favor of, then it should speak volumes as to their real intentions.

The only people left in their party in 10 years is gonna be outliers.

Yes. Do you believe one person by himself should be able to set the election rules for the whole country?

Do you think the democrats should be able to ignore the will of the people and continue to allow illegals to vote?

Are you ok with a future Democrat president making it illegal to show ids nationally? Anything Trump can do, a future president can do. Why do you want the president to be a dictator?

It blows my mind how short-sighted these folks are on topics like this. They love it when Trump dictates because he is their guy, but Trump won't be there forever.

It's amazing that this isn't even considered.

Remember, if Trump can do it so can a Democrat president.

If T-Cult could think, they would appreciate this comment.

"I'd be careful about doing that, you'll just give your opponent the power to do what they're already doing."

Thanks for the warning.

It's not questionable. Congress/fedgov already does it.

Obama's DOJ sued the state of Arizona twice over new state law that required proof of citizenship to register/vote. Got the supreme court and in both cases the state law was struck down for federal elections. Court said the law could stand for state and local elections. This is how the "federal only" voter was created, and it's nationwide - not just AZ.

So the federal gov't is already setting rules for federal elections.

Always funny when a President issues an EO for protection, people question it.

But when another pushes policy directive to coordinate with Central American nations to send Illegal Aliens, provide unfettered crossing, and provide full benefits to each one, nobody cares that every step of that is 100% Illegal.

Democrats shrug at fraud and fight to keep it from being questioned.

I find it hysterical that whenever he loses, there's "fraud" and "cheating" but when he wins, it's ALL good.

What a fukin toddler.

He literally started pushing this BS back in 2016 before he even won.

Even if everything you said was true - why would you oppose fraud reduction?

Yes, the rules are set. It's this crazy thing called our Constitution. And it says the states set the rules for their own elections.

If 75% of the country supports voter ID, then have them contact their representatives in Congress and have them convene a constitutional convention to change the Constitution.

That's how it's supposed to work.

He needs to include language in the EO that prevents groups from going to court to sue, to preempt likely attempts at striking this down

Begging to be completely subjugated and powerless before the emperor. Wow. Do democratic presidents get absolute power too?

This isn’t a realistic option.

That crazy thing is too flawed to work in this moment in time. It’s being used to destroy from within.

What??? I read today that the Senate had 50 votes, and Vance is the tie breaker. What changed?

We're going to need 60 votes in the Senate.
