Furthermore, My post gave a prediction that Trump would win re-election by a Giant margin in 4 years. Which is a prediction of the everyone united not divided.
Great. So based on your logic you also believe that Obama united the country during his eight years. Thanks.

*Personal insult noted.I average about ten a day. Will not lose sleep.
*To imagine yourself as the last principled man in America and say things like "I hate what this board has become" says a lot more about your moral vanity than the board.
* If you have spent the last year reassuring others that "I'm a Conservative, I promise" you may not be a Conservative.
*If you reserve your most emotional and strident criticism for the Republican President-elect after eight years of unabated Cultural Marxism, you may need to reevaluate your political leanings.
*When you say things like "I will not bow the knee" and "It is possible to have an independent thought or two and not be a lackey. You used to be that way. Now you just shill for whoever isn't a Democrat without calling for anything better. It's a shame"-you are doing two things. You are being vainglorious (over and over again) and you are telling lies. Neither is very flattering.
*That you refuse to give me the courtesy of respecting that I have arrived at my opinion about Trump honestly and to imply that principled support of Trump is impossible, again speaks to your moral vanity.
*You have gone from melting incessantly about Trump to insulting his supporters , all before he is ever sworn in. Your Never-Trump sanctimony is played out and your hyper-criticism just screams of self-regard. Get over yourself.

I'm confused by your post. Have you switched to Trump now?, because your post is exactly what has happened and continues to happen under Obama and the democrats.

I truly believe the liberal media is far more dangerous to our national interests than are Putin and the Russians.
That's very much aching to a one party state. And we have actual proof.

quote:Yet Netanyahu apparently is not a friend either. But Angela Merkel is apparently a friend. She wanted nothing to do with aiding the US in pressuring Russia following Crimea and the Ukraine. Yet we tapped her phone for years. It's quite a conundrum.
Publicly pretending like he is is a mistake that sends mixed messages to our actual friends and does nothing to neuter him.
So in comes Trump with a novel observation:
Radical Islam is a common enemy to both Russia and the US.
In years past, d/t oil dependency we needed to shut Russian out of influence in the Middle East. It was a national security issue. Now in route to North American energy independency, not so much. In that new light, Trump observes we share another interest with Russia: Deescalation of Iran's march to nukes.
A US-Russian coalition approaching each of these challenges would be a real eye-opener for targets of our shared objectives.
Granted Russia may not cooperate. Russia has proven in the past to be unreliable. But I don't see harm in giving Trump a sit-down or two with Putin before calling for his scalp.
You act like the Donald is going to give stuff away to Putin. That is not his style.

This is exactly right. I don't understand why liberals can't understand that he's doing this to get under their skin. There's a reason he pinned the tweet.

However what he's done so far, even before becoming president, does not look hopeful
I disagree. I see a more hopeful outlook in regards to the economy and national security. Compare this to Hillary Clinton, the most divisive and bigoted candidate in my lifetime. She offered failed economic and foreign policies, and she was defeated.

My basic principle here is that it is utterly stupid for Trump to throw in with Putin over the assertion by U.S. intelligence agencies that Putin encouraged interference with the U.S. election three weeks before his inauguration and when he has not even been briefed by our own intelligence agencies on the issue. The one who seems to be ignorant of the issue is Trump himself - and you for blindly supporting every move he makes even when he admits he hasn't been actually briefed on what he is doing. This whole thing is stupid. I'm not the problem.
You haven't been briefed, either. I trust Trump over you. Get off your high horse and stop conflating a relatively diplomatic gesture by Trump on Twitter, to defuse an Obama unfounded allegation that has put foreign relations into a roil... with "consorting with the enemy."

What division? The BLM movement..the class warfare..the science vs the enviro nutbags..the makers vs the takers, etc...you know..the ginned up crap that Obama spawned and the media hide? THAT division? Conservatives don't support that, so what are you referring to?

1. We all know the left is trying to deligitimize Trump's election
2. The whole thing looks like a political stunt to accomplish #1. It makes no sense for the current President to make such a visual bold move when he is transitioning power to the next guy. What is their truly to gain doing this right before he exits from a bipartisan foreign policy point of view?
The whole thing is party politics by the dems and if something needed to be done it could have been done behind the scenes quietly and then it could have been the first order of business for the next administration to wrap up.

Hmmmm,
Barack Obama
2008 (365-173)
2012 (332-226)
Ronald Reagan
1980 (489-49)
1984 (525-13)

Calling out people/corporations/media outlets personally by name on twitter as POTUS because someone hurt his feelings is pretty fascist.
You sound really paranoid. What are you basing this fear on??

Of course they understand that, as do I. That is what makes it worse in some ways. Very presidential of him

What kind of criticism is this? You just use buzz words because this is nothing but a troll. You misuse cuck while failing to explain why his comment is "beta." I
Really? The definition of "cuck" is a man that enjoys watching other men bang his wife. Everyone here misuses it
Posted on 12/30/16 at 5:22 pm to Jbird
I just can't wait to see him pat himself on the back with a tweet back after his first presidential address.
Posted on 12/30/16 at 5:23 pm to Jeff Boomhauer
I am pretty sure it is used as a stronger way of labeling someone as "beta". As that would be extremely beta to be a cuck.
Posted on 12/30/16 at 5:23 pm to Jeff Boomhauer
Not everybody. I have never used it. Not since ASURob was here and we were talking about the actual thing.
