If I was betting I would lay money on him spiraling down the same path Richard Nixon did because of his over inflated self-image and perceived importance. Trump will be his own worst enemy because he has to win, be right, be the last voice in the room and in general he has to see himself as the best and biggest in the room.
He'll step on his dick again, trying to prove how great he is. But he'll probably win the nomination. And IF he wins in 24 it will be at most 4 years of more investigations and impeachments. This time he won't even have half of the Republican support he did last time and will likely, as mentioned above follow Nixon's embarrassing path out of office.
