So we turn their terrorist proxy / Iran into our ally and they / China have to confront us in the open if they want to frick Around. Oh and a few million Iranians get freedom in the process.
Sounds like a plan to me.

Unlike Arab countries, Iran was for centuries one of the most civilized countries in the Middle East. It was not until 1980 that the Islamic revolution took control of the country in a coup that instituted Sharia Law and ended the freedoms of the Persians.

While this looks to be a good thing to me, are we certain that the video footage is of a current event in Iran? For some reason, a lot of old footage has been used all over the place and is passed off as current. MSM is the primary culprit, but I'm not so sure we can believe anything presented via a camera any longer. AI and dubious reporting have all but ruined the credibility of anything you don't actually witness with your own two eyes.
Anyway, I'm still hopeful the people of Iran can throw out Khameini and all his ilk.

Iranians look more like me than anyone I’ve seen from Somalia. I’m all for protecting those people

Yeah they got their arse kicked.

I'm no expert on Iranian politics. I do see , all across the country, there are protests and stepped up displays of resistance.
Some from the outside would claim the Summer of Love was on par with what we're seeing now.
That's an absurd comparison, but watch for the Left wing to draw such conclusions.

I think it’s good for the world if A10’s are allowed show what they are capable of every once in a while. I love that plane so much.

But then all the “real” conservative, “principled” Thomas Massie and Rand Paul disciples will cry.

That's a fiery but peaceful protest.

China has a supplier. They just got forced to pay more.
China has made their money off the backs of nations around the globe by stealing their technology illegally and selling it.
So different seeing a President refuse to sellout to China like Obama and Biden did.
China is learning what playing hardball is like for once.

Lol.
All I'm saying is countries with grand future goals in mind get really feisty when you cut off their oil supply.
Or maybe they will bend the knee
.
That's what I would do if I were
chairman Xie Winnie the poo

I was just a kid so I really didn't appreciate the situation. I do remember the adults being very concerned and fascinated by it.
