The purpose of the office is not our entertainment. He's the leader of the free world. He needs to stop throwing a tantrum every time someone criticizes him.

If a democrat was acting like this this board would be melting down.

Lewis is far more intelligent than Major Owens was.
He was the House Rep from Brooklyn, NY.

He gave the greatest speech I've ever seen on Cspan's coverage of the House.

He explained how 100s of thousands of slaves were dumped overboard en route from Africa to the US because they got sick and wouldn't sell.

The sharks ate them. The sharks then passed on this knowledge to 100s of generations of future sharks. So that today modern scientist have observed that current day sharks are still following the route of the old slave ships because they were told that a buffet is coming soon.

DJT is correct.

It is past time for rhetoric and time to clean up the shat holes these members of Congress represent. Progs love to spew but are wanting when it comes to having the nads for realizing true reform.

End game time is now in play for the Left, is what the election was about, Federal and State Offices. Time for the Left b.s. to walk. Enough is enough, get your own damn house in order before worrying about someone else's.

Sadly, he'll never be voted out. Too many people in my district have deified him to the point where he is untouchable.

It would help if anyone would run against him.

Every elections, vote for John Lewis or don't vote.

I'm old enough to remember when liberals said questioning the results of an election was tantamount to ruining our democracy.

But a black guy says it and it's no big deal. That's why the left are the actual racists. Different standards for different people based on the color of their skin. Society can't operate that way. That's how we got trump.

An what exactly are these "tantrums" hurting as compared to John Lewis, a duly elected manner of "our" Congress, questioning the legitimacy of the guy elected to be our next President?

The first part of that is probably true other than the number being exaggerated. The second part is prime time crazy though.

Trump needs thicker skin. If he continues to feel the need to respond to every criticism for the next four years it's gonna get really old and annoying. He's not running for president anymore. He needs to start acting more presidential.
i used to think that

Now, I think he should go back at his detractors. Look at this thread, a man called Lewis a Saint...yet can't produce one thing he has done. These are discussions people like Lewis will grow weary of.....they will crawl back in their safe spaces because they will know that if you try to expose Trump, you better not live in a glass house

This, This, This!

In my lifetime, no one has ever fought back at these blithering idiots when they spew their nonsense. It's far past time to fight back at these morons and hold their feet to the fire with their rhetoric.

Sorry. Obama pretty much took the meaning of the office and shrunk it down to nothing. This is what we are most likely going to get moving forward.

Of course. I just think it's funny that many have bought into Trump being an R, but that's another thread...

Lewis represents a tiny portion of the country and there is a long tradition of representatives saying dumb things in Congress. Trump represents us all and I was hoping that once the election was over he'd start acting like it. It's simply not the way a President should act. But we are getting closer each day to Idiocracy so I guess anything goes.

You know you're not going to get a reply. Methinks you're being ignored?
