No they are not. They are not out trying to stop others from speaking.

Jason Kessler, unite the right founder, was once a member of the Proud Boys. They kicked him out and disavowed him and unite the right, but apparently the second part of that statement didn't matter.

These tech companies policies are quickly becoming transparent political activism and as such is leaving the bounds of private actions by companies.
You can't engage in political activism without filing certain paperwork and declaring such things.
Otherwise these companies are essentially just giving billions of undeclared support to the Democratic party.

Huxley was wicked. He makes it clear in his Berkeley lecture

They will not stop until every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.
The same reason McIness should be allowed his platform is the reason twitter should be allowed theirs not to include him

In Fahrenheit 451 it's not the Gov't who burns books, it's the people.
The suppression of free ideas is alarming whether it's by the Gov't or by the public. Actually, a great argument can be made that public censorship is potentially even more dangerous.

The market will sort it out

It generally does...but it is fun to watch all the small government types of this board scream that this is censorship.

And what do you think this thread is portraying? The market perhaps?
For the market to work people have to want a change. How is "the market" supposed to work without people speaking out?

By definition it certainly is censorship. Just not Gov't censorship.

Well, it is still censorship, whether it’s the government or not.

What is Proud Boys? They picked a name that sounds like it would be a liberal man child love club.

A western chauvinist fraternity. They believe that western values are the apex of culture at this point.
They also beat the shite out of Antifa regularly.

Opens the door for a social media platform that censors no one. They will be their own downfall. Trump pushes them to the extreme, then makes them own it. They are destroying themselves.
Don't believe me. I've got some hardcore liberal pt's that have been redpilled thanks to CENSORSHIP. All it takes is a small shift in voting patterns to take them all down.
