You should have just said “if I’d known I didn’t know what I was talking about I wouldn’t have posted.”
Legit I think I’m more concerned that you didn’t know George Strait had hits that recently than I am about the jobs thing.
Cmon man that’s King George.

Jokes on you. George had a #1 hit as recent as 2013. And two more in 2011.

These are meaningless numbers to compare to previous years when they continually change how the calculation is made.
This has been pathetic pandering/propaganda for both sides of the aisle as each adjusted it to suit their needs. It’s similar to how they shifted how inflation was calculated to make it look less bad than it really was.
In the end, when you stop counting unemployed people because they gave up on looking for a job and instead live off the government dole, that isn't success. It’s utter failure of the worst kind.
This is why politics has become such a joke and everyone just stops caring.

There are 208 million working age people in the US. Only 159 million actually working. 50 million working age people sitting at home.
The unemployment stats are beyond BS.

You can get any stat that you want by changing the definition. I could lower the crime rate in New Orleans over night by redefining what a violent crime is.

Consider that people need two jobs to pay for the insane rate of inflation
Wrong.
Poor people like you need 2 jobs.
Many of us are doing very well.

We can't even drop off mail into drive by mail boxes at the Post Office anymore, because A) there are no workers to empty them, and B) the not working fricks keep ripping open the boxes to steal mail. Sure looks like lots of people are "working".

the unemployment rate fell to 3.4%
"The primary factor in determining whom to count as unemployed is that the person be actively seeking employment. “Wanting a job” is not enough to be counted as unemployed."
