I kind of feel bad for the protesters. They probably believe that we are going to save them. Unlike American Leftist protesters. I believe the Persians have a legitimate claim.

I really think this is the end of the regime. Israel has taken out a lot over the last 2 years. There wasn't much of a successful response against Israel or the June strikes. Trump has been crushing them economically. I don't think they have much left to fight with.

Their will to fight is one thing, the major underlying fact of the entire situation is that they don't have an economy right now, or for the foreseeable future.

Probably should focus your time and energy on the United States and not so much Iran.
We have major problems here much less worried about what a third world country is doing every second of every day.

But how would that benefit Israel and the MIC?

quote:Some demands should be met:
Yall still talking about Iran. lol.
-Sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty
-Submit to international inspections of your nuclear reactors.
-Cease hostilities/bombings against your ME neighbors and also cease funding terrorists to fight proxy wars to topple their governments.
-Cease infiltration & sabotage efforts of ME governments through espionage efforts.
-Allow citizens to freely voice their opinions/protestations about government corruption and their desire to change leadership.
-Release political prisoners from neighboring countries and obey international human rights laws.
-Respect the sovereignty of surrounding countries and engage in sincere negotiations to seek peaceful solutions.
Once these demands are met, we should turn our attention to Iran.

I think they do have a future, and given some freedom the place will flourish. Iran is not like the clans of Afghanistan, there is history of very profitable civilization there. The issue is can the old regime come in and establish order and provide the basic needs a society needs or will the turf war be worse?
I also don’t think the build up is because we are not sure we can defeat Iran, we need to have enough resources to keep this from boiling over into a prolonged fight with China and Russia. They have provided Iran with a lot of resources and intelligence and that can not be underestimated.
I support taking out that regime, they have monetized terror across the globe and need to be gone. The question is how much American life are we willing to lose to accomplish that goal. We can’t get mired down and begin to lose ships and aircraft.
