If tweet fails to load, click here. I would not put too much stock in American or European liberals calling for intervention against the Islamic republic. They will probably just say that the report is Israeli and MAGA propaganda.

I am shocked that the USA does not have a carrier group in the area. No carrier group in the middle east? And the fact this revolution has been going on for 2 weeks and the last 7 days it appeared to have a good chance of winning.
It seems, combined with the Israelis there would already be enough aircraft in the area to achieve the goal. Even without the Israelis.

We had a massive buildup in the area during the worst of the Gazan war. I don't know what resources are still there.

Democrats with UK and France is who forced the Shah to step down. The protests in the late 70's where nowhere near what we are seeing now. The only people shot by the Shah's forces were communists backed by Russia carrying AK's. UK & France flew the mullahs in to step in and take over what had been brewing. UK and France knew that negotiating with mullahs was like playing chess against a monkey and they made serious bank over the years not just cutting deals on oil but selling to Iran.

Within minutes of Iran falling, liberals will claim a humanitarian crisis and blame that on Trump.
Then they will wait anxiously for some guerrilla/insurgency style fighting from the remains of the regime and fire up the Iraq/Afghanistan comparisons and blame Trump for that too.
