If you want to make this about a black parent who had no control over a child which saw them take a gun to school, be my guest.
Because I have a feeling the black parent in question talked a bunch of shite to the child about “respect” and “standing up for themselves” that made them think they were doing the right thing by choking a teacher the previous year and shooting one this year.

VA school boards think they are above the law.
Loudon County SB sicced the FBI and local cops on parents who brought attention to a girl raped by a trans-identifying male in a school shower and tried to victim-blame.
Same people who insist “no means no” when a woman retroactively changes her mind on sex insist that because the girl had fricked the kid before that it wasn’t rape when she refused to do what he wanted that day and he did so anyway.
You left put the part the school board didn't tell the dad it happened, covered it up, sent the rapist to another school where he did it again!!

I was focusing on the part where they tried using Stalinist information control tactics to keep shite damaging to them from being known by the public.

Unless they saw the gun beforehand, how on earth would just saying a 6yr old is dangerous, do anything?
If they saw the gun beforehand, it can be assumed that they would've immediately dialed 911....she wouldn't have just bitched to the administrators that the kid is dangerous.

Child in question had choked out a teacher the previous year and was a known discipline issue. The school ignored anything he did, apparently because he was black and the administrators refused to do anything about black kids with discipline issues.

quote:This I can believe. What's not being stated her, is the fact that public schools put attendance above all else. That is what their federal funding hinges on. Everything else is secondary. It's not really a black/white thing. It's a green thing. I know of schools that have zero black students. White kids get caught multiple times with drugs with intent to sell, cops are called, and the kid is back in school the next day.

the principal told the teacher that the backpack was too small to hold a gun. I guess it wasn't.
Seriously? How big does the fool think guns are?

I’m not so sure. School administrators had been warned ......
Requiring her to work in a "gun-free" zone probably violated her 2nd Amendment rights.

Actually agree with the SB to some extent. 40m is fricking ridiculous.
She should get 3-5m and call it a day.

Who ever heard of a 6-yo brandishing a gun and bringing it to school? Who gave him the gun, and why? A 6-yo can't purchase a firearm legally anywhere in the US.
Its AI tarzana, AI programmed that gun, and taught that gun to walk to the school, hop the metal detector and place itself in the hand of the boy. And then it did the ole "baldwin maneuver" and pulled its own trigger.

If they think she should only get workers comp, then that implies they think she was injured from a normal part of the job. If getting shot is expected to be a normal part of a teaching job, they are opening a can of worms. All teachers going forward should claim the job should have hazard pay for the dangerous war zone they work in. This also opens the door for putting increased security at the schools. Trying to save a little money now could cost a fortune down the road. Settle for a 1-3 mil pay and be done with it.

teke, that Loudon situation was disgusting. But that is northern VA FULL of a bunch of Karens and bleeding dems from the suburbs of DC.
This school district is Newport News, which is very ethnic shall we say. Its a white female and the surname is possible Jewish. Dont be surprised they throw out the race card and say the kid did it because the teacher was racist.
Get some other six year olds in a room, hand them some candy and voila you have witnesses to that effect.

Two or 3 million, come on man. She could have easily been an administrator making 3 times what she makes now. Throw in benes and the net present value of the dollars awarded.
Now lets talk pain and suffering. First beautiful young girl, will never have a normal love life with those nasty scars.
Second, constant pain from a hole in her chest and hand.
Third, the amount of hate a threats about how she deserved it. Bet you she has a ton of evidence to show the jury.
Oh this sweet child is getting eight figures for sure.

Did you guys read the story on the shooting. This woman put up her hand and the bullet went through her hand and into her chest. They have her on cctv then ushering the class out and down the hallway to safety, and only then stumbling into the admin office and telling them to call the cops and rescue.
Woman is a hero, give her the money.

I'm guessing the death penalty is off the table for the 6-year-old?

Have you seen our gun laws???! I’m so triggered that MAGA hat wearing people can actually go into a gun store and walk out with a machine of death!
It’s abhorrent!

No doubt but respect is one of those things that can't be taken, it must be earned. And, people with no concept of self-respect can never be respected or respect others.
