More posters who don’t understand “the press” =/= MSM

50-60 years ago the press/mass media became decidedly left politically speaking......at this point they're a media apparatus of the Democratic Socialist party....so freedom of the press is a moot point.

Which is not illegal though in this instance, I wish it was.

Is he protesting or documenting?

He won’t be convicted of anything…

A guy during J6 tried the "press defense." The judge said because he was a Trump supporter and said so on camera, that he was no longer a neutral observer. His defense attorney was discussing this the other day on a podcast.
Don Lemon is on camera during the event talking about how he agrees with the protestors. He gave a monologue to the camera calling the church goers racist and all kinds of other shite. He was not there as a "journalist."
Now do I expect him to get convicted in MN? Hell no. He has about as much of a chance getting convicted there as the Klan did in 1950s Mississippi.

You do realize there are at least a dozen cases that set precedent for the FACE Act. Almost all are very similar to what Mr Lemon did. I am not saying he will be convicted, but I am not surprised you have such convictions on your beliefs.
All involved will most likely be fined at most.

I notice OP didnt comment on the way leftists went after journalists during covid for simply telling the truth from their living rooms.
OP is against freedom of the press.

I am much more concerned about the truthfulness of the press and its association with socialist takeover plans.

Weren’t there like 6 or 7 Rep backing journalists/podcasters that were arrested and charged while covering Jan 6? If so, that seemed to set the precedent for something like this.
If the left didn’t question what happened to them, they need to pipe down when it comes to Don.

Sir, you are the press and don’t realize it yet
I’ll be curious to see his other tape and communication but he was pushing quite far for being an uninvolved party simply documenting. Seemed very participatory and just happened to have a camera following his storming.
