We have a Canadian company in our portfolio that makes a product none of my competitors can match at a similar price to theirs.

A 25% tariff will temporarily make that product out of reach for most of my customers.

What’s the alternative option in this scenario?

I really do not drink much anymore. I drink about once a year. The last time I did I got a bottle of Proper 12. I liked that more than I thought I would surprisingly. Back when I was drinking more regularly I really liked Makers Mark a lot.

Besides whiskey the only Canadian products I'm familiar with are Deacro converting equipment. Their ply separators are over engineered AND not very well put together. shite show control software.
Bossmans too stingy to spring for Dusenbery. 50 year old Dusenberys at the other end of the department are still rocking.

frick it, just build a big wall with a one way gate for Canadian women to come south.

My grandad was stationed in Okinawa during the Korean War. He told me never to drink Sake. According to him a person could drink paint thinner and it would taste better than Sake. I never tried it because he told me that.

Not really. They only power around 1.5 million. All we would have to go is flip the switch to another grid on our land.

Yeah I knew it was rice wine. If you had heard the way he talked about it and saw the face he made while describing it lol. I knew it had to be pretty awful just listening to him describe it.

We and one other competitor have a lower quality product. No one has an option comparable to our Canadian product.

Rush stopped making albums, and Triumph broke up a long time ago, so no care.

I just bought a Wallenstein FX110 logging winch (made in Canada) 2 weeks ago. Tariffs could have affect its price. Other than that I don't buy much from canada.

Our banks are limited due to Canada's lending laws especially on mortgages. If the US had those same laws we probably would not have had the 2008 mortgage meltdown crisis.

Also, you could boycott aluminum.....that would get everyone's attention

If Canada wants no tariffs coming to the united states why do they feel it is on to tariff America?

Which is why Trump wants the tariffs! Trump is just using logical thought, which means fair play, but the Canadians seem to have a problem with that and feel they are entitled to screw America!
