I'll bet those folks you work with who are claiming that Obama was the epitome of class and decency are either black or they're hard left democrats.
Obama managed to get elected twice because he was a charismatic speaker and he was so fresh, no one had dirt on him. He was able to awaken "white guilt" and that is what got him elected.
Once he was elected, I thought maybe he would really unite the country and that would be good, after all, he was half white. But that didn't happen! He instead, chose to divide the country more than since the Jim Crow segregation days. He put his nose in very controversial events on the local levels and most of the time he was dead wrong.
He did manage to seek out the dumbest white politician available to run as his vice president. He did this, partially to garner the white vote and also, so he wouldn't be shown up by his VP.
All in all, he was a mediocre president who's legacy will be the one who caused the beginning of the great divide.

I have medical insurance. It increased dramatically when Obamacare was passed.

He threw his grandmother under the bus in a speech defending his attendance at Jeremiah Wright’s church in Chicago. This was the church he was affiliated with while he was living in Chicago. His (white) grandmother had helped to raise him, yet he had no compunction about claiming that she was a racist. She died shortly afterwards. This was when I realized the “content of his character.”

Obama hates America. The very first thing he did as President was go on an international "apology tour," apologizing for big, bad America.
Obama also race-baited every situation he could get his hands on, starting with the Cambridge Police matter where Obama ended up looking like a complete fool. You don't remember that stupid "beer summit" they hastily arranged between Obama, Brandon, the racist black professor, and the policeman?

You know how many say “The left has gone way left”? Well this when that new era slowly trickled in. It wasn’t obvious at all, because he was an extremely good speaker and communicator, but the seeds were being planted. He knew the plan all along. By the time the 2016 campaign season rolled around, all of the Democrat candidates were out there bravely pushing the woke agendas that you see today. Then Obama basically served as Biden’s guiding hand for most of his term.

I just went thru this thread. Even the usual suspects like Decatur, VOR, sfp, etc. are afraid to take up for him. I mean, not one defense of Obama in 3 pages.
