Everyone in this thread immediately made this about the current protests, but the OP was a general questions, thus my response.

Remember, most defending the death in this situation will defend Jan 6.

They have no actual belief, they are just blindly defending the movement.

So is Trump now King George, is that ICE, or is it just name calling of the poster?

I am not exactly sure how illegals being arrested under federal laws voted on and enacted by representatives who were elected by the people/governed fits with taxation without representation or other tyranny King George and the Brits did against actual British subjects fits here, but knowing for sure who King George is in this scenario will help.

No issue with what ICE's mission is.

King George is directed to thise saying you can't carry a firearm and have an interaction with a government official without understanding you will be killed.

Read through the thread multiple people keep restating that protesting while carrying a gun means you are accepting you will be killed. They are 100% against the 2nd amendment if they have this point of view. This is the entire point of the 2nd amendment. The 2nd isnt in place so you can shoot hogs with an AR15.

LMAO. Get a load of delusional Braveheart here.

As for running afoul of the government, I know of a fact if I ever do, it won’t be because I’m stupid enough to fall do leftist propaganda about Trump being “Hitler”, ICE being the “Gestapo” and trying to interfere with them when they’re UPHOLDING THE frickING FEDERAL LAW by arresting and deporting illegal aliens.

And since to brought up having the stones, why don’t you put your money, where your mouth is? Instead of acting like your some sort of Braveheart on an internet message board, go out and try to be a hero to some sub-70 IQ illegal immigrant from some third-world shithole who’s been living here and suckling from the government teat. When ICE shows up to deport them, jump your happy arse up and defend them to the death.

Or do you have the stones to do so?

No, he didn't. That's a lie. He was trying to record government action. You are glad the government killed him for trying to record its action. They did that in the USSR and now in Russia (Trump's idol country), but you already know that since you're an expert on WW II (and you actually are a bit of an expert on WWII).

ok...but if you ever do, would you NOT go armed?

That is the question in the OP that everyone seems to be ignoring.

The problem isn’t protesting while having a firearm. Th problem is he wasn’t protesting. He was interfering with federal agents. You can protest all you want with a weapon, depending on local gun laws of course. But he crossed the line from protesting to interfering with law enforcement. There is a big difference.

First off, I wouldn't be at a protest because there's literally nothing good that will come of it and I have better things to do with my time.

But no one is carrying like this guy was for any reason other than to use it on law enforcement. It appears to be a full-size firearm with a sight, he had multiple magazines, there are no counter protestors and his family confirmed that he never carried the gun.

This is a direct result of politicians and media stoking the flames (again) and calling CBP/ICE nazis, gestapo, brown shirts, and saying they're abducting and sending everyone to camps.

I don’t go to protests because what good is it going to do? Is defending illegal alien rapists with your fricking life really worth it? And on the other side, if Trump doesn’t win reelection, every 1/6 protester would be in prison for literal decades. Would THAT have been worth it?

frick all protesters, in general, regardless of what side you’re on. There’s a literal BILLION other worthwhile things to do then spend it doing that.

So he pulled the gun?

No...no that didn't happen.

Actually....he didn't even have a weapon on him when he was shot.

Like I said. You don't support the 2nd amendment. If the government is involved just lay down your arms.

If it’s My Team, they should be armed to the teeth. If it’s Other Team they shouldn’t even be protesting, much less with firearms.
