"Their time is up" is a rather open-for-interpretation thing. Is this an "up for bat" sort of thing, or is this a "in the grave" sort of thing.
Who is he implying is "getting their time"? If he means the elves' race, are other races justified in becoming angered by being passed up yet again?
What does it mean to have your "time" racially? Are we to accept that one race should dominate another? Isn't that a Nazi philosophy that has been rejected by Western cultures since 1945?

We're being watched, so I can't say what I would like to happen.

Might not hurt him financially, but in the long run it's not good to alienate such a large group of people that he doesn't even know. All the white servicemen that died to keep so many free.
