re: White people feeling the pangs of change

What we're seeing is the advanced stages of political correctness in effect. The Left and the Far Left have been in control of Hollywood forever, but now they control both the media and the educational process, too.
So, what does this all mean? It means that the number one narrative being promoted and pushed these days is:
WHITE PEOPLE ARE EVIL, RACIST PEOPLE.
That's it, and any incident will be used to push this bullshite narrative. A perfect example of this took place just this week in a shoolroom in Massachusetts, where "educators" gave their students false information about Michael Brown, which resulted in those brainwashed white children believing that Michael Brown was both a hero and a martyr.
Imo, the Ferguson incident did serve one valuable purpose. It showed, or should have shown, any thinking person just how ridiculous this attempt to demonize white people has become. Ferguson has shown us that, potentially, any interaction between a white person and a black person can be used to promote this false narrative. REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE FACTS SHOULD TELL ALL OF US.

I differ with you on the sins of the past. Take Asians for example. When they came here, they were probably valued even less than black people. Cheap labor and they had NOTHING. Now look at them, they rose from nothing to largely be something. It has been done .
Completely different scenario.

How long are we going to have to listen to this excuse?

It's not an excuse. It's just how it is. Asians took with them their values, culture, work ethic, etc. that was passed down through the generations and they took that with them when they came to America.
Slaves were stripped of that. Even after they were free they were treated very unfairly. These things shaped their outlook, their culture, their values, and their world-view.
I mean, it was only 50 years ago that black people couldn't drink from the same water fountain as a white man. Or they'd have to give up their seat to a white man if he wanted it.

I am also bothered at how easily and without evidence people ascribe race as a motive for various deeds.
Here is a great example.

That's the thing that really gets me. Change is definitely coming, but it's change for the worse. Much worse.
It's almost like the country is being held hostage by a group that, surprisingly, only comprises 13% of the total population. As a group, they don't value education, 75% of their babies are born out of wedlock, and they commit criminal acts in greatly disproportionate numbers relative to their percentage of the overall population.
But, thanks to political correctness and their control of the media and the educational process, this group has become the rock stars of our country. They can do no wrong, and God forbid you have a negative interaction with one of them.
Only in (politically correct) America, folks.
Oh, and did I mention this phony bullshite is only going to get worse?

Still with the excuses. So, assuming your theory is correct, explain how the Chinese coolies managed to adapt and overcome in America while black people by and large are still making excuses.
Most people are tired of it. The wealth of this country has been stolen from the productive and spent on people who don't care to improve themselves and are ungrateful for what they've been given.
Time to do something else, because this isn't working.

What do you think?
Our dialogue and approach should reflect America, not sects.
Personal success is personal. It should have no relativity to success of others.
Insofar as the current political climate insinuates justified intrusion by others into my success, that is communism, not racism.

Please tell me what culture, work ethic , intellectual achievements, ethos, the West Africans were stripped of? I look there today and some some of the worst societies in the world. Blacks who were slaves and now residing in the US have it a 1000 times better than any poor child born in Monrovia, the Congo etc.

Okay, how many Asian people in America today descended from Chinese coolies in America?
As for your other point, it's not like black people had a big group meeting and decided they are going to be the poorest ethnic group and commit the most crime and have the most children out of wedlock.
Things shaped their attitude and culture over time.

Ferguson showed two things - to rational people - K; it reinforced the obvious fact that when it comes to race...a very large majority of Black folk will choose self-delusion over factual reality, when all the chips are on the table. That is very dangerous, given the racist demagogues and Alinsky-strategy, social justice ideologues like Sharpton, Obama, Holder, et al.
It is double dangerous - not in a political sense - but more so in a logistical one, if there is any kind of serious disruption in basic National infrastructure, from a variety of existential threats (cyber attack, mass/coordinated lone-wolf version, EMP, Natural disaster, economic meltdown, etc.). In such a scenario...faith, in regard to one's expectation of what one's neighbors will do...is critical.
It is a virtual fait accompli that Black Urban groups/gangs will develop, and move to take whatever basics they need. And of course, Whites too, will group up (militia version) in a reactionary scenario per that Bridge scenario down in Katrina. At that point...what is it that stands between an all out B v W shootout...other than the Civil Authority?
Which brings up the second thing that Ferguson taught observant folk. Such being that the high ups in charge of the Civil Authority...might...choose not to use violent force on the desperate 'victims'. Rather, to let them burn and loot.
Yeah...White people are "feeling the pangs of change". But so are Blacks. And the changes are not positive...thanks to the *leaders* like Al Sharpton...right-hand adviser to the POTUS.
Ben Carson...or Al Sharpton? Choose the future. Looks like Obama et al...have.

Actually, the income gap is growing even wider.
Hell, Obama commented on this the other day in one of his race-baiting speeches.
So, no. I don't see a change. At least not for the better....for ANYONE for that matter.
If you are in the middle class, you are getting screwed daily. The rich/elite like Obama are getting richer. He and his fellow pols (both sides, BTW) are all dividing us further while robbing our current and future wealth.
Yet, here we are, bickering.
The plan seems to be working well, IMO. This "change" is tearing us ALL down.

Yes because all these places were shining lights of intellectualism, progress, philosophy, and achievement prior to European Colonialism, China made a nice comeback after a pretty brutal run of British Colonialism. When everyone quits making excuses for black culture, crime, illegitimacy then we might be in the precipice of progress.
