And Trump would own it if he was in office. This move by Putin was inevitable.

It’s hilarious to watch you progs act as if you and the leadership you support are superior to Putin when he’s shown the entire world how feckless and weak you really are.
This attitude you share with your beloved European leaders is how we ended up here.

Europe that are scared to even sanction Russia. Why isn’t the president of Germany on TV trying to rally the world?
It’s not fear of them militarily as much as they are tied to the hip with Russia in their energy needs, but this falls on American liberals. America has plenty enough natural resources to sell to Europe and get them off the bear’s tit. It’s just that for that to happen, radical idealists in this country especially would have to lay their insanity aside in lieu of what just makes good sense for all of us, and in stopping that which funds the Russian war machine, Russian fossil fuels. Hit Russia where it really hurts, and that will stop the bear in his tracks.

Because Germany only attacks the world.

I don't disagree with that, but good lord, did you watch Trump basically suck Putin's cock on the stage at Helsinki?

If Trump succeeds in his long term plan to break up NATO, then he is eliminating the defenses against Russia doing this in any country in Europe.

You really think that fukker cares who sits in the Oval Office. He has wanted Ukraine for the better part of a decade. He knows the West will bluster at worst.

Shiner is the tarzana of the right.
He’s a troll who says caricatures of things he thinks the right believes.
It’s like some of you are new to the internet.

You want more or what?
There are multiple people on this board that have defended Putin and flat out praised him, simply because Dems hate him.

If Trump succeeds in his long term plan to break up NATO
This is the sort of bullshite low IQ people believe.
quote:
Trump’s main criticisms of NATO, which now has 28 member nations, are that the alliance no longer serves its founding purpose and that it is too costly to the U.S., which pays about 22 percent of direct spending by NATO, the most of any nation, according to budget information. The U.S. also pays a much larger portion of the organization’s indirect costs, NATO says.
quote:
Trump: No, I don’t want to pull it out. NATO was set up at a different time. NATO was set up when we were a richer country. We’re not a rich country anymore. We’re borrowing, we’re borrowing all of this money. We’re borrowing money from China, which is sort of an amazing situation. But it was a much different thing. NATO is costing us a fortune and yes, we’re protecting Europe with NATO but we’re spending a lot of money. Number one, I think the distribution of costs has to be changed. I think NATO as a concept is good, but it is not as good as it was when it first evolved.
All of that is extremely rational. If Europe was more invested in NATO, it would be a good thing.

This is a situation where in my opinion there are no “good guys”.
I will always stand first for my home, my town, my family and friends. Always.
But current Western “leadership” with “muh democracy” (i,e; the promoting of divisive racial emphasis, no genders, open borders, turning a blind eye to crime, hostility towards Christianity, education where parents have “no right to interfere, the promotion of free-wheeling, untrustworthy voting processes, etc. etc). No, current Western leadership are not “good guys” either.
So do I favor a tyrant like Vlad? Hell no.
Am I going to rally and rah rah behind the banner of our own tyrants? Hell no.
This is a pissing match between bad people all around and, as it usually is, the people (in this case regular everyday Ukrainians) will bear the brunt of any suffering.

I’m not sure you can read, to be honest. Criticizing the K street kleptocracy which sucked the teat of the Russian oligarchs isn’t high praise for Putin. A retard would argue it is.

Rommel was wrong for fighting for Germany but he was a brilliant military mind that was the father of modern combined arms warfare. Putin played Europe, Obama and Biden like a fiddle. Is it wrong to note the truth? That isn’t praise that is respect and I have no problem being truthful. When you aren’t you have military failures like we witnessed in Afghanistan!
