My point is pretty much only this, you can dislike Jonn McCain for alot of reasons. I am fine with that. His military service, however, is one not of those. If folks were real conservatives that claim to "Support our troops" they would not follow that tact...

It's common sense talking. But I'm not 100% convinced our president is a real conservative anyway so his position makes sense to me.

I wouldn’t say I hate him. Used to like him actually.
Then I read up on his history. Particularly events in the navy before he was a POW and came to the conclusion that he really is not a good guy and people like him are the cause of much of the problems in today’s world.

John McCain's father and grandfather were both well-known Navy Admirals, so, it was almost assured that he would be accepted into the US Naval Academy.
His military career was fraught with great peril because of the war. He served bravely. However, is the question regarding some flaws in his character and his skills.
The great military figures of history exhibit great skills in leading men AND in practicing their craft. The record demonstrates their skillful handling of their battalion, or division or Aircraft Wing. The record is replete with the accolades of the men who served under the leader.
John McCain's military record fails on both counts. He was not an expert pilot and he was not a well-loved leader of men.
He did suffer greatly as a POW and we should honor all POWs of Vietnam and Korea.
John McCain's political career was even less distinguished than his military career. He consistently exhibited self-serving mendacity as his most reliable character trait. Additionally, he consistently met criticism with a vindictive pettiness that often manifested itself in childish and self-contradictory acts (his Obamacare Vote) that actually worked to the detriment of his own political party's interests.
You may venerate John McCain, if you wish. You may praise him as one of the USA's greatest military figures, if you wish. You may laud his long service as a US Senator, if you wish. But don't expect me to join you.

Sounds like he is the victim of extortion. You really should read the facts as submitted by the government in the Cohen case. It doesn’t implicate trump anywhere. And the recording Cohen has reveals trump saying if there was a payment it had to be on the up and up.
