You took the position that the press couldn’t defame people in that case. I assume that’s changed now.
Everything is the same!

You’ve devolved quite a bit in 7 or so years. You good?

I didn’t even comment or follow Jones’ case at all until the default judgment was handed down and then the compensatory damage ruling yesterday.
Mea culpa. I lumped you in with the others and improperly so. Apologies.

And why hasn't Biden had to pay for repeating the Fine People Hoax?
Not only did he not pay, he was rewarded with the presidency.

Because your shitty and uninformed political opinions aren't credible legal accusations...

Sounds like someone needs to make Trump's lawyers aware of this...

Fauci didn't pay for his claim that the vax prevented the spread of covid...
Oh wait, it's only freedom of speech when it fulfills the agenda. My bad

So you think both the 1st and 2nd amendments cannot be infringed

on the basis of a huge list of bizarre "coincidences" that no one seems to have a logical explanation for. That's not even getting into the seemingly fake behavior of the purportedly grieving parents.
Why don't you post links to support each of these assertions.
It should be amusing at least.

I’m waiting on you to post the exact defamatory quote.
This is silly. Hank stated that Jones repeatedly and publicly accused parents of faking their kids’ deaths. Is that true or not?
This is a message board, and as such we are not held to the same level of proceedings that govern a court of law. That would stifle the discussions. If it’s true, Hank doesn’t have to sort through the transcripts in order to satisfy a message board.
I don’t know a thing about this issue. Jones might be completely innocent as far as I’m concerned. But why don’t you address Hank’s accusation? Did Jones make the accusations Hank claims he made? If so, they seem libelous to me.

The medical examiner was all over the board with his supposed findings when he spoke to the media, and he also was cracking jokes, which was really bizarre. There was no sense of urgency from the first responders on the scene
So this was a conspiracy that included the “parents”, the medical examiner, the ambulance drivers, police, etc.? And presumably some people who set the whole thing up? That’s SOME conspiracy. Amazing that they kept it from leaking. Good eye by you guys to catch them out.

the suit claims trump believes there was fraud even after barr told him there is none and Sidney Powell admitted in court she made up her stories.

Well, only one of them uses that language. Unsurprisingly, it's the one that you fully support infringement upon.

Guess Barr didn’t check with the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Who was defamed?
In this specific case Neil Heslin which resulted in harassment of her and his wife Scarlet Lewis. In the upcoming case Lenny Posner. Then in Connecticut there are others.
I don’t think this is just about saying somebody’s name though. When a person is showing videos of children’s choirs at sports events and claiming that those are actually the living children from the Sandy Hook massacre, a specific name isn’t necessary. The damage can be done by saying something like “these parents are crisis actors. Their children never died.” When people know what “these parents “ mean I don’t think a name is required.
But…also he named Heslin. He named Posner and published his address on air.
