Does it matter? Do you really need coffee that bad? Stop relying on caffeine.
There was an economic/political system that told people what to drink, what to drink, what to wear, how to think….it didn’t work out too well.
Some of yall need to check yourselves.

And actually lowers inflation?
I'd give you hell for not knowing WTF inflation is, but you're no worse than some members of the FOMC ITR. It's an awfully low hurdle though.

It was meant to be sarcastic.. you noticed I included the other two products very hard to grow in the United States.. beef and tomatoes
Guess my old man humor missed
Directed at the guys arguing we are only removing tariffs from stuff unable to grow in us..
As mentioned in follow up.. been to the plantations in Kona… tasty but not that large..

No you wee bragging about Hawaii coffee in the other thread being an alternative to importing coffee, which is stupid to even suggest.
Hawaiii produced 0.4% of our coffee consumption in its best years.

Oh no! Muh Trump is literally Hitler! Let me guess… you literally can’t even can you?
Relax, soy boys. Sounds like your Starbucks coffee is safe.

Green World Coffee North Shore HI Its fantastic
More expensive than imported coffee.
Early July coffee was trading around $275 per pound and on Nov 10th it was trading at $414 per pound.
Some of the price increase is caused by weather conditions in Brazil. Weather conditions have improved and if weather conditions continue to improve it will bring down the price. The report that came out on weather conditions on the 11th dropped the price to around $401 today.
The coffee beans that are being grown now won’t hit the shelf until 2026 and 2027, but it could still help the price over the short term if weather conditions continue to improve.

I was hopeful the tariffs would work. We’re getting some income from it which is good. But most people (including many here) cannot afford the high consumer prices it’s causing and cannot change their shopping habits, so Trump is having to acquiesce. I don’t know if it will help in time for the midterms. How much will people melt if next year Democrats are sweeping elections? It could be a very bitter pill to swallow for sure. You are in a tough fight for sure. Which do you choose?

If he keeps giving all these discounts to those people who eat too much, we are never going to get our $2,000 checks!
