re: Will people here admit that the vaccines are working?

I'm saying that it shouldn't even be called a vaccine. 2 shots, yearly boosters, and still at risk of contracting the virus doesn't sound like a vaccination to me.
Then no inoculation program could reach that standard, as many still require boosters. Even efforts like the eradication of smallpox had adverse effects, including deaths resulting from vaccination. I don’t even understand what you objection is here.

can you provide the data and give us your expert analysis?

My objection is getting the vaccine. I will take my chances without it...just like I have done while working 5 days a week for the last 15+ months.
Posted on 6/6/21 at 3:50 pm to DaleGribble
But your objection in that post seemed related to the word ‘vaccine’ and was undermined by the fact you apparently don’t understand vaccine programs or the history of vaccination.

quote:Well FWIW, the hospital numbers are dramatically lower. That's not a media number. It's fact. There are several regular posters who could confirm.
So no there is no possible way we believe COVID numbers are miraculously lowing now that there's a vaccine.
But I absolutely appreciate where you're coming from.

That's nice.
Still not getting it and nothing you can say or do will change that.

Say whatever makes you feel better about supporting fascists then last year but the way the media, CDC, and most state governors handled COVID was a total shite show. Anyone healthy under 30 getting the vaccine is pretty ridiculous when you look at the numbers. Children definitely shouldn’t get it. The numbers are not great for over 90 as well since a surprisingly high number die of side effects after the vaccine. So keep selling a fake narrative that anyone who has legitimate questions is anti vaccine. People like you have guaranteed the public will never follow so called health experts again. Also, number would naturally go down as more people are exposed and develop natural antibodies moron.

Say whatever makes you feel better
But you prefer to just close your eyes and pretend none of that happened, because you know it makes your entire premise of your post in here wrong, and you don't want to admit you were wrong. I get it.
quote:Oh, you've lost all sense of reality. I didn't realize that, my bad. Carry on.
about supporting fascists

So keep selling a fake narrative that anyone who has legitimate questions is anti vaccine
quote:Can you elaborate on me, what am I? Please, go ahead. Make yourself look more and more foolish than you already have. Go ahead, answer that question.

When did you get your last booster shot for small pox?
Did you doctor tell you that there is a chance that you could still get small pox when you got that booster shot?
Was it an mrna vaccine?

quote:The J&J and AZ are. But with one caveat. We know specifically what virus we are targeting with CV19. That is NOT necessarily the case with influenza.
It sounds more like a flu shot. But people seem to call those vaccines too...and sometime they still get the flu.
Months beforehand, we try to predict which flu strain(s) are likely to be endemic during flu season. Vaccines are constructed accordingly. It's a bit like predicting the weather. Occasionally it's a whiff, or we get one right but there's an additional strain circulating which the vaccines are ineffective against.

The OP is a classic example of a Strawman. His belief is that ‘the board’ is against the vaccine because its not working towards it’s intended goal. The overwhelming majority of the board have responded with a rationale for opposing them getting the vaccine that has nothing to do with its efficacy.
You bumping a post of one person who doesn’t think the vaccine is working won’t change the fact that it’s a Strawman.

Thank God for President Trump’s amazing leadership in getting the vaccine to those who wanted it.
His leadership combined with herd immunity even defeated the Chinese boo weapon.

Wild smallpox no longer exists anywhere on the planet. IF it escaped from a lab somewhere, you'd better damn well believe EVERYONE would get vaccinated or revaccinated.

Zero issue with the vaccines that Trump lobbied for and got the ball rolling. It’s the masks that a majority have issues with.

But wouldn't that be one of the main reasons to get it? If it's both effective and safe the reason for many not getting it is purely political.

quote:Sure, if you ignore all the posters, adn there's quite a few of them, that replied that they do not think the vaccine is working.

quote:He didn't say that was his belief in the OP, did he say it elsewhere?
His belief is that ‘the board’ is against the vaccine because its not working towards it’s intended goal.
quote:What about bumping quite a few posters who don't think the vaccine is working? How about then? How many posters in this thread need to answer that way before you'd change your opinion, what's the actual number? Because there's been quite a few. You pretending there's only one is just that, pretending. The fact is there's been wayyyyy more than 1 poster, which have made the OP's question a valid one.
You bumping a post of one person who doesn’t think the vaccine is working won’t change the fact that it’s a Strawman.

Know how I know you have never gotten the smallpox vaccine?
You referred to it as a "shot".
The smallpox vaccine is administered by taking a needle dipped in the substance and sticking you in the shoulder 3 times on the first dose.
The smallpox vaccine is good for 10 years and then if you have to get it again, you are stabbed 15 times in the same spot.
Most people don't require a third.
I know this because I've gotten both. First dose was in 2003 before we deployed to Iraq. Second dose was during my second Korea assignment in 2018.
