The reasoning was some countries didn’t have the technology. So by that standard Africa Asia and Oceania shouldn’t be using it either right? Concacaf is a mess

Good job by the Canadian keeper preventing any of his guys from getting suspended there.

Tight arse race with only 2 windows left. We have the 7th and 8th place team at home in next window and play at Canada.

Need to come away with 6 points from those 3 to feel at ease going into last window.

In our defence we usually suck so it’s weird to get fired up about soccer on the National team level.

I will say this though, frick Mexico and their dirty arse players and dump arse fans.

Mexico has the easiest remaining schedule (US & Panama at home) followed by Canada (US at home, at Panama, but also three other trips to Central America). Then us (@CAN, @MEX, Panama at home) then Panama (@MEX, @US, Canada at home).

Really need to avoid 4th. Playoff could be Chile or Uruguay out of South America.

Panama plays at Mexico next window. Need Mexico to win that.

Unless we expect Mexico to not actually qualify, which I'm cool with, but I think there is a better chance for Panama to falter.

Canada on top of the OCT after 8 games is the craziest shite I’ve ever seen

And they’ve already played Mexico twice and get Us at home. Doesn’t hurt rest of qualifying takes place in the winter too. They’re a Qatar lock at this point IMO.

As long as one of them win creating some distance between the top 3 and rest. Don’t want to chance coming in 4th and having to go play-in route.

need to throw in the caveat of having Honduras and El Salvador at home. if we beat Panama and take those other 6 points, it’s a wrap. plus Panama still goes to Azteca

I expect the FMF to fire Tata soon after this window. Let’s hope they do something insane like hire Chelis to manage the team and they implode under the pressure. I don’t expect it, but it’s definitely not a 0% chance. They suddenly look pretty old in many spots, and they’re gonna really feel the heat from the Mexican media.

It would be hilarious if we and Panama got results in Azteca and sent Mexico to the playoff.
