Just saw he was found alive in rubble. Can't imagine going through that.
"The Ghana Football Association tweeted Tuesday they received information that Atsu was alive. He was pulled from a collapsed building in Turkey. Atsu currently plays for the Turkish club Hatayspor."

That's crazy that they pulled him from the rubble.

I can’t imagine being under rubble for 24 hours. That sounds like a nightmare.

When I went to bad last night, an African journalist with a huge twitter following said he learned Atsu was alive so I took that as a sign that we could have more conclusive evidence this morning.
Great news for Atsu and soccer fans. Unfortunately the sporting director for the team still hasn’t been found.
Due to the cold weather, I figure anyone who isn’t pulled out in the next 12 hours or so may be dead, even though humans can live for a bit longer in ideal conditions.
Surely this will give Atsu nightmares for years but if he is alive and makes a full recovery, this will give him and his fans something to be very thankful for.
Crazy how he scored a goal earlier in the weekend.

Looks like this is all false? I'm seeing he still has not been found

Yeah, very sad.
It's also crazy how descriptive the now-false report was. Like it wasn't just "Atsu has been found", it was "Atsu has been dug out of the rubble and is now recovering in a hospital." I get that things are destabilized after such a huge natural disaster, but it's still weird how that first report came out, only for it to all be false a day later.
