Twellman is defending himself on Twitter saying he did nothing wrong and the only reason he left is because he’s calling the Belgium game

I'm begging you man, learn how epidemiology works. Because there are far more vectors for myocarditis, including non-viral vectors, such as fungi, parasites, and some incredibly common bacteria, as well as things like drugs, alcohol, and antipsychotics, among others. It is an incredibly common cause of death of young adults, with upwards of a quarter of young adult non-MVA deaths traced to myocarditis. We can probably rule out fungi and parasites, but some of the viral and bacterial vectors are incredibly common.

You should see the OT thread
The mods here are so fricking lax. You almost HAVE to porn bomb to get silenced for a bit.

I could start one of my “this just in” threads on the rant and it’ll be whacked in seconds. Some of the other shite that stays up for days concerning political shite and disparaging teenage athletes is ridiculous

They're going to finish the Finland/Denmark game today

1. Is there not currently further research going on about the vaccine causing myocarditis in young men?
2. Is Christian Eriksen a young man?
3. Can myocarditis cause issues like what we just witnessed?
Can covid-vaccine myocarditis cause sudden cardiac death? I don’t think you’ve proven this yet.
but then you say this:

You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about. The study on it showed in Erickson’s age group the prevalence was 124/26,844,601, or .00042%. This equates to 1/2381
Prevalence of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is 1/500, or 0.002 (but the article mentions it’s probably more common than that).
Come back at me when you’ve got more facts.

I was not surprised to find you in the rambo thread lol

They pulled Twellman from the set. Dude was spouting off how long it took for the medical crew to get to Eriksen. Kind of a bad look considering they got out there ASAP and did their job.
He sounded like an idiot, saying it was “1 minute and 49 seconds before they started doing CPR.” Well maybe he had a pulse at first, idiot.

Anyone know where the Denmark-Finland game will be shown?
Posted on 6/12/21 at 1:13 pm to DByrd2
I don’t see anything that meets that standard, imo. Randy is an attention whore who loves to shitpost but this is like a 0.5/10 or less compared to the stuff that gets posted on the OT, Political Talk, or the Rant (the last of which actually gets moderated on game days).

Yeah...he definitely overshot the landing

Schmeichel is the type of guy anyone would love to have on your team. The leadership he showed during that crisis keeping the players, coaches, and the significant other updated isn't easy, and I'm sure he took the burden upon himself.
I'm still surprised the Foxes have been able to keep him these past 5 years.

Am I to late to chime in?......watch out for the English!

So your big point is arguing between .00042 and .002 when the former is obviously brand new and still being studied and reported?
You also aren't accounting for the fact he's been playing soccer for 25 years with no issues and just got the vaccine probably 3 months ago.

The prevalence of COVID vaccine myocarditis there is more like 1/238 100
Not disputing your point. Just want to emphasize that the difference is even more pronounced
Could probably argue that VAERS data undershoots, but I suspect it’s probably more accurate with more severe AEs

Unfortunately fear sells in the media. Incredibly common and relatively benign vaccine side effects are now reported on so poorly that it almost begs the CDC to start being more thoughtful on how they provide information, as the laypublic seems resistant to epidemiological refutations, or even probability refutations or even general comorbidity variables within data subsets. It's incredibly frustrating to see the discourse as though everything in biology is just a 1 to 1 relationship, with simple causes and effects, when the situation is far more complex, and is resistant to simple explanations.

Do you know how numbers work?

Do you understand how viruses work? Or anything about human immunity? You can twist this logic for any athlete who has a heart issue.
