Looking ahead - Romania/Ukraine and Turkey/Georgia are not on tv the next couple of days. Fox should lose their rights because of that bullshite. There’s not that many games to justify not having all of them on tv.
ETA: later Slovakia/Ukraine and GeorgiaCzech Republic are the same fate. So lame.

It makes zero sense for this to happen when you have three fricking channels with pretty much every cable package offering FS1 and many offering FS2.

I find Lalas to be extremely annoying.
Donovan is knowledgeable but just extremely dry and not good at building rapport with Ian Darke.
I imagine he is awful on first dates. But he’s tolerable because he doesn’t act like a WWE heel the way Lalas does.
He made a dick size joke to Schmeichel earlier this weekend that was very embarrassing.

Lalas used to be the perfect balance of informative and showman.
You saw it begin to tilt more towards showman during his final years at ESPN and has since become the soccer version of Clay Travis since going to Fox.

I might be the only one who likes Donovan's commentary. He gives good insight that you really don't get from half the soccer color guys.

It has to be plainly obvious to everyone now that England does not have a snow balls chance in hell of winning this tourney.

I don’t mind Donovan.
He is knowledgeable and shares good observations.
He’s kind of an autist with awkward social interactions and a monotonous voice, but that is preferable to me than Lalas in the studio.
Schmeichel and Chiellini are good though.
