I'm expecting Morocco to win, honestly. It is bullshite, because the US has the best infrastructure for hosting these events. It's frankly very rare for a country to host 2 WC's within a 40 year period, which is the prime reason I think our bid will fail. Mexico hosted it in both 1970 and 1986, but the 1986 bid was due to Colombia pulling out. West Germany and Germany hosted in 1974 and 2006 respectively, 32 years apart, but the latter bid had a symbolic aspect, as Germany had been unified 16 years before. It took Italy and France 56 and 60 years respectively to host again. I'd imagine that due to the fact that countries like Australia have never hosted, and it's been 52 years since England hosted, there will be significant pushback to any US bid until the 2040's at the very minimum.

Valid points, but they've moved to this model of focusing on continents and not countries (they say) and Africa just hosted a couple of cups ago.
We bring more fans and more $$ to every WC and it's almost shameful we had to drag f'n Mexico into this just to have a shot at it.

The World Cup should honestly rotate between North America and European countries. Going anywhere else is stupid.

honestly Morocco would probably need the World Cup and enjoy the World Cup more than us... and it's somewhere that deserves its moment in the sun, especially from a sports and human perspective.

They have only hosted the African Cup of Nations once (1988).

We should try to host the U17 and U20 WCs. We've never hosted either of them. Hell, Canada has hosted both.
