The Grealish transfer was over half paid for by sales made including a sale on clause they had on the Sancho deal. City will only have to deal with his salary. But I think this whole thing is Barcelona are puppy doging la Liga to get them to change ff rules.

The wildcard is if he’s willing to accept a much lower salary to make it feasible. I can’t imagine that money is a big motivator for the guy right now.

Pretty sure he said eventually he’d like to play there. But with his ability and skill set he’d still crush at the toppest level clubs. So I don’t see it happening until at least 4 years or so.
But I’m in agreement with a lot of the guys here. This Barcelona’s way of trying to get a new “Messi” rule implemented. And because it’s Messi, the League may actually bend the knee.
