Rio needs to play more. He's the only guy out there that attacks from the wing and creates havoc on the defense.

3rd place finish after the group stage is the primary reason Slott is still our head coach. I did not have a back line of Robertson-VVD-Gravenberch- Endo on my Bingo card this season. And I actually predicted Gravenberch to draw some starts at Centerback.

Didn’t get to watch today but nice to hear about Konate. I’ve been hard on him most of the season but he has been playing well the last few games he’s been in. It makes a huge difference when he plays well.
And Ekitike and Wirtz are starting to find their groove and I’m loving it.
Shouldn’t have spent that money on Isak and should have found another winger.

He looked like the Konate of old... happy for him!
Im okay with the two striker signings this summer, because Isak was viewed as the nailed on PL proven starter and Ekitike as the back up... we always needed two...
I definitely had my doubts on Ekitike, give what he had shown to date... but he has came in ready to go...
The biggest mistake was selling Diaz and not Gakpo.. I get that we weren't going to offer Diaz a big new deal, but his dynamism ws never replaced and Rio isn't ready game in game out... Gakpo is a decent squad player, but not good enough for what we want to win..
There is also the other obvious issues of leaving the CB pool so thin and not signing a DM...
Word is we are trying to get Lutsharel Geertruida in before the window closes... RB/CB/DM.. played for Slot at Feyenoord.. he is currently on loan at Sunderland from Leipzig..
