Also hearing Musah's ankle is minor.

Cardoso is said to be the replacement.

How has he been? Has anyone kept up with Brazilian fooseball?

He’s been playing decently. Had a random brace a few weeks ago and has made team of the week in Serie A.

@MarkMckenzie4 and @ErikBrown14 have been added to the #USMNT roster for September training camp.

They replace Cameron Carter-Vickers and Chris Richards, both of whom are sidelined with minor injuries.

That really sucks about Richards, paves the way for Aaron Long to start.

One of the least mentioned talking points is that our CBs will have zero game time together prior to the WC.

Which is why I'm worried with the Richards injury that Gregg will default to a Zimmerman/Long pairing because of all the minutes they logged together in 2019.

It really, really sucks what happened to Miles. Very similar to losing Davies before the 2010 World Cup (albeit wildly different injury scenarios), Robinson complimented Zimmerman so well with how Gregg wants the backline to play, just like Davies complimented Jozy in Bob's low-block/counter 4-4-2.

Richards has a similar playing style to Robinson though, no?

Yes, and has more overall potential than Robinson because he is better on the ball, but I think Robinson right now is the better player.

When Robinson went down, I think most of us assumed Richards would be the eventual replacement, however he and Zimmerman have only started 2 matches together and Richards isn't exactly getting a lot of playing time at Palace.

Your daily reminder that Pefok is tied for 2nd in assists and tied for 3rd in goals for the top team in the Bundesliga, and not called in for camp.

If Pefok doesn’t make the plane I’m going to be pretty disappointed. Is it too naive of me to hold out hope that he’s already a lock and that’s why he doesn’t want to see him? Like, give Pepi and Sargent a camp to duke it out for the last forward spot.

If that's the argument from Greggg, then it's pretty bad and we're in trouble. Team needs to start gelling together in run up, and if true, then it not only shows Gregggg's naivety, but also a lack of the Gaffer being decisive.
