On behalf of all SEC fans, I’d like to kick Greg Sankey square in the nuts for letting in all of these SWC douche bags.

In the big 12 you thought you were special, but in the sec you’re just another date on the calendar. This transition looks like it’s gonna be pretty difficult for a lot of these folks.

I've been to several TX-OU games. They're fun, even for people who aren't fans of either team, but the best rivalry in the conference? That's a negative. The only thing he's right about is that it's the newest in the conference.

I went to UT for grad school. Like you said, it's fun, but it can't touch the crowd and noise at LSU/Bama or even LSU/Auburn or LSU/Florida.

Well that’s to be expected. Half the stadium is in orange and half the stadium is in red.

If you can't call it the "Red River Shootout" then stop trying to pump your chest about it. It's a cool experience with the fair background, but it's not the typical fun party experience like a great SEC game. Game day experience for a regular big SEC games is just as good.

utx/ou aren't use to there being so many big time games as their one big game was the only one the big12 had. These teams are truly not going to be happy with other fanbases not thinking they are the bees knees.

Hell or the egg bowl even when both teams aren’t very good. Went in 2000 in the rain. Even though it wasn’t full Oxford was fun and those 2 teams hate each other.

Did he form and complete a single successful sentence in that entire interview?

Honestly should make you all feel inspired to know that you don’t have to be a very sharp cookie and you could still end up running one of the biggest athletic departments on the planet.
