LSU wide receiver Jack Bech announced Tuesday that he is entering his name into the transfer portal.

He doesn't want to leave. But he knows if he wants a shot to play at the next level he has to. It sucks, we all want him to be here, as does he. It's just how it goes sometimes. Best of luck Jack!

This is so frustrating, watching Kelly blow up what O had in place with guys like Howard and Bech.

He saw who was coming in next year and this is his best bet to play.

Poor guys last highlight is the ball doinking off his head into an INT.

Hope he finds a good landing spot not in the sec.

LSU has never been a TE university. Definitely not one now. We don’t use Fullbacks any more and don’t seem to use the TE for much more than blocking.

And then there is JD.

I really liked Bech when he was healthy and tough to the ball. Strong receivers are always useful. Wish him great success wherever he goes, and really wish he was staying.

Transferring is just part of the game. No reason for fans to be salty. Good luck wherever he lands.

He was a good player. But he is dropping down the depth chart. And we have 3 really good receivers coming in from high school next year.
I kinda expected this one

Assuming Jenkins goes pro he’d be our 3rd or 4th WR… I don’t care how talented the true freshmen are we dont want to be relying on them for critical catches.

Damn, I like that kid. He and Walker lit it up together in High School for a State Championship if I recall.

Hate to see him go, but can’t really blame him…anyone playing wide receiver has got to have more than 16 receptions. That few receptions from a wide receiver is a disservice to both him and the team as well.

Good luck to him in the future…I hope he goes to a team where he can light it it up.

Was a great talent but clearly didn’t fit in with Kelly and his scheme. That drop in the SEC championship and the fumbles on punts will put you in the doghouse when your only job is to hold onto the ball.

Was it the special teams? It seemed like he lost his mojo after a few dropped punts. Confidence is learned. Sorry to see this

Wish him the best of luck. He could be successful here and I hope he reconsiders. I would welcome him back, just maybe not on special teams returns.
