Thought it was a solid thriller. I really enjoyed the way he wrote the investigative aspects but I don't know if I enjoyed the final twist.
I am reading Out of Sight by Elmore Leonard right now. I had only seen the movie. Whoever casted that movie knocked it out of the park.

Verity by Colleen Hoover. I’ve seen this book everywhere and lots of reviews on reels. Read about 1/2 so far. Really good and a little bit creepy.
Did it end up being any good? Trying to decide if I want to get on the It Ends With Us train but not sure if I’ll like Hoover.

The Out of Sight book has a weaker ending than the movie.
Reading another in Le Guin's Earthsea series. Tehanu.

About halfway through Persian fire audiobook
Really enjoying it so far. It’s not super thorough so as to not get bogged down and unreadable which I appreciate

Preston and Child. Pendergast I’d like to have a drink with.

I’ve been on a huge Elmore Leonard kick this summer. Just received Out of Sight in the mail.

My copy of their new one should arrive today. I'll probably put my Bond novel to the side and fly through it as usual

Yeah this was an interesting and tough read
Felt horrible for those people that were starved out .
And history basically treats it as if it never happened
