Swagger can have different interpretations. I’d say more get a guy with aura. Saban didn’t have swagger but he had aura. Swagger can be a double edged sword. Look at Deion.

Our last 3 coaches were never coordinators and that made us dependent on hiring good coordinators. I want someone that HAS one side of the ball always...

I’d say it’s a must. I want someone who basically runs one side of the ball. But in addition to this I want them very keyed in on what they want on the OTHER side in the modern game.

I think I’d rather an offensive guru but I just want someone modern.

Orgeron had both and was a disaster.

He had both to start with. Then he didn't, and you see the result afterward. You also see the results of not having those traits with Brian Kelly.

Lord Saban won most of his National Championships in his 60's.

hy do you think Frank Wilson has been at LSU for so long (I know he left but he came back)?

It's because he knows that seedy underbelly. He was part of it.

No he didn’t. He just did not have the brain capacity to fix all the holes on the roster, and the coaching staff. It would have been difficult for anyone, but it completely swallowed him.

You would be wrong with Miles. Don't let the "goofiness" get in the way. He is a very intelligent guy he worked as an assistant GM for a freight company for 5 years after graduating from UM. He is a very curious guy and asks a lot of good questions in any conversation.

A local coach I knew said he was maybe only second to Saban in organization and his equal in personality and Saban can be a really engaging guy.

2) Swagger

I hear this guy is available. He has swagger. Even had a SwaggerCopter.

His work ethic was okay too, when he wasn't drinking.
