Every time you guys do this to yourself. Then you hire O or BK. Let the process work itself out.

Jon Sumrall - caveat is this is likely very unpalatable for Landry. bad optics to remove HC of Tulane and install at LSU when you want to win re-election and get votes out of New Orleans.

I'm agnostic on Sumrall but this right here is huge red flag. Landry's personal political whims should not enter into it.

In that next tier of Sumrall, Key, Dillingham, etc etc etc, I’m all in on Sumrall.

I am biased. I have worked with the guy. He is a stud. (I’m sure the others are great, too)

I've heard it from multiple people now. Tulane grads - lots of whom are lawyers - would be very unhappy if their HC would be poached to LSU.

Who fricking cares, a white male republican isnt winning any extra votes in that city anyway no matter what he does, it shouldn't be a factor.

False, look at what he did before his gig now. He’s connected politically. Don’t be a hater because you don’t like his fat arse.

Aub or Kentucky

I don't think he goes to Kentucky unless they promise him the universe.

Auburn is the likely spot.

Just a guess, he’s not winning many votes out of New Orleans.

If he’s concerned about reelection, I’d suggest not operating so front and center for the coaching hire.

Landry can’t ready the room.

I think there is a small shot at Freeman

When Freeman was considering the DC job here, his wife shot it down. She didn't like Baton Rouge. She's the boss.

Going for head coach is different than going for a coordinator position.

Why is he a consideration anyway? He’s done no better at ND than Kelly. Last year he freaking lost to NIU, that should disqualify you from playoff consideration.
