That's because he had the players when transfer portal era started. Once the money leaking started getting around players bolted. If anything, it reinforces the point the game has passed him by. His teams have steadily declined in NIL era and now it's at the peak. He will not use the portal and that's done.

I'm not denying that his performance has declined since NIL/portal; but it's been a decline from A+ to B- when people act like he's now an F.

He plays in the ACC. It's a horrible conference. He'd come coaching in the SEC. Miles difference. And he doesn't use the portal. I'd be pissed if I was Florida fans.

I will say this, Dabo with all Florida talent would be better than at Clemson. Fighting for talent in several states. However, he would still have to deal with the portal, which means he'll have to change his stance.

Why is there so much demand for Dabo when he is clearly on the decline and refuses to adapt to the new college fooball landscape? He's honestly not much different than Les Miles at the end of his LSU tenure.
