Karma is going to bite LK in the butt for this and LSU too. This is all so cringe. SMH

Whats unfortunate is this could have been avoided if NCAA calendar made sense… some serious date changes need to be made

What if the leadership council demands to let him finish the year?

It’s only cringe because Ole Miss won’t let him finish the season.
I don’t agree with it, but LSU was reportedly willing to let him coach the playoffs so all the drama is one sided.

Let Marty coach them at this point. Dude’s earned it.

I was kind and f thinking that meeting with the leadership council might be the admin at OM seeing how the team feels about it.

Ole Miss is not the a-hole in this situation.

OM is botching this like no other. That portal door at OM will be busy in a few weeks.

Yea, they kinda are

Is it possible that he decided to stay at Ole Miss?? I don’t understand how it’s assumed he is leaving
Posted on 11/30/25 at 9:11 am to 7Tiger7
Leave the defense in Oxford.. Keep Blake Baker.

If they torpedo the whole coaching staff because some may leave after the season they sure are.

Anything is possible. It's assumed he's leaving because it has been reported by multiple well respected professional journalist who have likely vetted it from multiple sources before announcing it.

Being fair to Ole Miss, the problem probably lies with Kiffen not being able to commit to putting work for LSU to the side through the playoff run.
It’s the reason that Saban fired him before the title game. He promised to focus on title game prep, but spent most of the time getting a staff together for FAU. Saban was pissed and sent him on his way.

That’s on Kiffin for wanting to have his cake and eat it too. If he wants the LSU job, good for him take it. He’s handling this situation exactly how anyone would expect only Kiffin to handle it

It is hilarious watching LSU fans somehow think Ole Miss are being unreasonable by not letting Lane continue parading around their facilities, running their football program, while having accepted a job at their 2nd biggest rival.
Say Lane were to leave LSU for Alabama: is there any chance in hell a single one of you would be ok with him finishing the season when it is public knowledge that he’s taken the Bama job and will be there ASAP?

We need to walk if he is going to finish the season.
You can’t risk that guy having a change of heart and leaving you out to dry.
You either wanna be here or you don’t same with being at ole Miss. if you were that determined to finish the season then you shouldn’t have been taking calls from other schools

No, the problem lies with the fact that he will be at LSU come January. There is nothing else to it.
No self respecting school would allow him to finish out the postseason.
This isn’t a coordinator leaving for a HC position and deciding to finish what he stated first. It’s an SEC HC leaving one job for another.
