You realize not all CEO coaches = Orgeron? You can be a great CEO. Orgeron was a shitty CEO. Culture, roster management, hiring etc. night and day and the results show it.

I think this is a disastrous hire and that he will be lucky to have 3 full seasons.

If we accept that premise, maybe O's only problem was slutting it up instead of focusing on the job. Wouldn't have that problem with Dabo. CEO can work, many coaches have proven that.

I doubt we're getting Dabo, but let's entertain the thought for a second for funsies. I do not understand why some would view him as a bad hire. I think he's a little cheesy, and I'm not a fan of his use of churches to funnel money to recruits, but he has gotten results at Clemson of all places.
He could certainly get results in Baton Rouge and would step right into the top tier of coaches in the SEC, above Kirby and Jimbo, and battling with Saban for recognition as the current best. He'd be a great hire.

Why do people think Dabo is leaving? Venables would be head coach at Clemson if Dabo were to leave.
