He sounds like Saban not going to the Dolphins.

Dillingham has been pretty clear in his commitment to his Alma mater and the massive $7M dollar salary doesn’t hurt. He is not nor has he ever been a realistic candidate for LSU and if Kiffin chooses not to come ( entirely possible despite what’s said here) LSU will be caught with its pants down scrambling to get the crumbs.

No backup plan. It’s a stupid way to conduct a search.

I would take Eric Morris over Drink.

I would take Glenn Schumann over Morris. Who is better prepared to take over a big SEC program than someone who’s worked on title teams at Bama and UGA? If you like Lanning, he’s a shot at a guy on the exact same developmental path.

Outside of his personal life why not urban meyer ? he’s proven he’s going to win before he has to give up his job for whatever reason.

After what’s come out about Kelly, there no way we can consider anyone with a hint of being washed. He has more than a hint after the Jags debacle.

There’s nothing to say. We’re all in the “wait-n-see mode”.

Lincoln Riley said the exact same thing to OU and denied LSU rumors. 2 weeks later he was at USC.

These coaches will say whatever protects their image and $ most. Coaches rarely ever tell the truth: whether post game media, injury reports, their status. Kinda surprised Kiffin hasn’t.

You guys are nuts if you don’t think IF he was extended an offer, he wouldn’t seriously consider it.

Huge pay bump, huge NIL co-op, designated prime time games, better players, better gumbo.

The gumbo part alone should convince anyone to come.
