Mark Lumpkin is a good guy. Known him a long time. I doubt he has any clue about Frank's plans. And guys from that generation aren't the type to ask.

I guarantee Kiffin is not taking this situation lightly. Frank may not be a RB whisperer but he absolutely brings something valuable to the team or he wouldn’t have so many supporters.
But in this era the mandate of the head coach is not to “bring something to the team”. He’s gotta bring W’s.

I’ve “known” him for at least 5-6 years and have been by his office before he sold his book of business (IIRC he did. We’re in the same business): He’s always been very friendly and warm so I can agree.
I know plenty of guys from his era and while they may not ask, they certainly do talk and have thoughts on the situation.
