Says DJ is losing his pop and doesn't "have the nuance in his game" to compete at Augusta anymore.

This guy is just a troll at this point.

DJ can absolutely do it all on a golf course.

So DJ has lost his ability to compete at a course he dominated and won about 16 months ago

Chamblee is an odd duck.

I remember at the Houston Open Pro-Am dinners when he was a player he was pretty stand off towards his partners.

One time in the parking lot he was chewing out his girlfriend something fierce, I felt sorry for her.

My favorite Chamblee moment was when he argued David Duval about what it takes to win a major

Chamblee only played in a few majors in 15 years as a pro

I'm gonna go check on DJs money line now.

To me he's still the best golfer on the planet. When he's locked in, he can't be beat. Maybe Rahm is closest.

Let's not forget he was just the best player in the Ryder Cup not long ago.

I really shook my head when I was watching the golf channel earlier and they were analyzing Tiger picking up his tee. I realized that sports news has reached the same concept as the 24 HR News network.

Chamblee was hitting balls next to me on the range at TPC Scottsdale back in 2011… I was an assistant there at the time. No joke… shanked 4 straight looked at me and left. True story.

I didn't yet another reason to confirm he's a clueless dipshit yet here we are.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why anyone listens to a word he says much less likes him.

He makes hot takes like Colin Cowherd just to rile people up. However, he pretends to be a pseudo intellectual, but doesn’t know shite. His only “insights” about the golf swing are things he repeats that he hears from others.

I was going to respond to your OP by saying he is often right about these things. He loves Bryson and said Bryson’s game is not conducive to winning at Augusta, too.

Must admit I would have been wrong and he was very much wrong about DJ. I am hoping DJ wins another one this week.

He is by far the most talked about commentator. His job is not to be right, or to be liked, it’s to be interesting, so viewers watch. People watch him, even if to hate him. He’s a lot more interesting that David Duval or Justin Leonard. The same reason Colin Cowherd, Mad Dog, Steven A and Paul Finebaum have jobs. Same reason Johnny Miller had a job so long.

He has been right a lot. He called Scheffeler before he was the best, Morikawa before he won the Open, called out Rahm for being incapable of putting before others and called out Phil’s BS apology.

I don’t always agree with him, but I do watch.

He’s a sanctimonious, condescending, smug prick.

He’s the best in the business. May not always agree with his takes but he does meticulous homework and really knows the golf swing.
