Twitter/Musk deal hanging on by a thread. Twitter fraud on bot #s may sink the deal.

Musk knew all that beforehand. I don’t think he ever really wanted to buy. What a shame because it would have been great.

So he used his immense wealth to root out lies and evil? Like Batman?
Elon musk is batman.

If he still wants it he'll buy it for a song and a dance.

Twitter very well may be sued into bankruptcy after it is all said and done. Bunch of crooks…selling ads based on fake numbers.

I’m starting to wonder whether he ever wanted to buy it either or if his goal was really to expose the political bias in their censorship and the high number of bots to torpedo Twitter’s value to advertisers and their stock price

If he buys it, it will be for much less. If he doesn’t, he will root out all the bots and destroy the company financially because the ad revenue is based on falsified numbers and they know that. So, which goal did Elon have in mind? Enquiring minds want to know.

Not to threadjack but, I wonder if Facebook’s numbers are fake too?
They tell you your reach, but how do you know it’s real?

It’s a valid point.
Devin Nunes says the real numbers are with Instagram and Tic Tok.
The irony of Chinese owned TicTok maintaining real numbers and US based Twitter faking big numbers is pretty rich.

Twitter, Facebook and Google are shining examples of the Democratic party. Everyone knows they were cheating, yet no one has been able to challenge them successfully and prove it.

I wonder how much Elon shorted Twitter for before all this started.

This could destroy Twitter.
As well as send execs to prison.
This might be even better.

Musk will shut down twitter without even having to buy it...savage

This is playing out exactly as Musk knew it would. Anyone who doesn’t think he’s two steps ahead is kidding himself.

…you mean LifeLog

This is all about exposing the fake-arse nature of left-run social media.

Hopefully this scares Facebook, google and others, but I doubt it.
They all need to be investigated.

I had frequented a forum known for its interesting topics
"a god like production" 10 years ago
they had a "users, posts, ticker at the top
there was no way that thing was even close to accurate
it would show lots (1000's) post for a day, and the site would be boringly dead
I thought it was bots/fake accts, back then driving posts, on dead threads
all to drive revenue
had a "discussion with the owner" about it and left after that

Yeah, but making his due diligence on bots public could be a big deal for Twitter going forward. I’m not really sure how they survive this unless the deal goes through
