One of my go-tos for years has been a Waylon boxed set. First it was the CDs. Now, it is on Amazon music. It starts in the early days and covers most everything he did of note.

I just found out that Amazon has cut a few songs off of that boxed set. That irritates me. It is called the Nashville Rebel. Still a good set, though.

I believe it was the pills that killed him.
I've often thought about the canonization of Hank Williams among Southerners. He was a degenerate by most standards. Guess it's the legendary music.
