No excuses any more. None.

4.9 MILLION illegals walked across the border in Biden's first 18 months in office.

They did nothing but ship them to DC in an attempt to make them understand. That is political posturing.

It did not solve the problem and they KNEW it would not.

Each state has the right to stop it at the border.

They won't. Ask yourselves why?

What non border states are sending funding to the border states.

Would be nice if someone stepped up to do it, but it's a pretty massive tax bill to pay for that. . . And the states are handcuffed by the "federal" government. . .

Non-participating states should have the migrants bussed there IMO

Why should border states be solely responsible for immigration across the country's borders?

You’re right. Texas voters should throw Greg Abbott out and elect Beto.

That’ll show them we mean business!

Border is a federal issue. States are enjoined from interfering per SCOTUS from the Arizona case during thr Obama years.

Mass deportations is the only thing that can save this country. All 30 million plus of them.

Understand this, but do you think the Fed Gov is going to enforce it if the border States start building their own walls and patrolling the border...

Now, do I think the border States should do it alone or on their own dime... No...

They are CLIMATE MIGRANTS, and they will be granted full citizenship since we are reason that the earth is experiencing unprecedented global warming.

It’s a fricking emergency and it will be taken care of before the next election…by EO.

No. I’ll ask you. So, why don’t they stop it and how could they if they chose to?

And all four of them have the money and resources to do so, right? They should be draining their state treasuries to do so, correct?

There's a good answer I hadn't thought of. You either support stopping the immigration, or you deal with them.

I can see your point, but it is the Federal government's job to secure the border.

New Mexico and California are run by Democrats. They aren't going to oppose anything the Administration does.

Texas locked the gate, Border Patrol turned around and opened it. We're trying to be generous by giving the newcomers safe passage to NYC and DC (who have declared themselves "sanctuary cities") only to be criticized for our generosity.

I don't know what's happening in Arizona.

It's literally an explicit federal responsibility. See Jan Brewer's attempt at enforcing federal immigration law at the state level.

Protecting national boarders and securing the peace from foreign persons and governments is a function of the FEDERAL government. Please retake high school civics.

Doesn't California have pretty much a wall from the Pacific to their State border with Arizona?
