Handmaids tale is out today and I realized that most of the shows we've watched this year have been on Hulu.

I didn't even watch Hulu a few years ago and now I think it has the best content.

This is a very solid list of shows on Hulu/FX

Handmaids Tale
The Bear
What We Do in The Shadows
Reservation Dogs
Dope Sick
The Old Man
Only Murders in the Building
Dropout
The Patient
The Great
Under the Banner of Heaven

Are any of these shows good? I got through like 4 episodes of Only Murders in the Building and it was alright I guess, I just kind of forgot to keep watching it.

Me and the SO were talking about this after watching The Bear and currently watching Reservation Dogs.

They feel very much like AMC did when they had Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and EARLY The Walking Dead.

The implication being that you are already gay enough and the propaganda is just overkill at this point

Under the Banner of Heaven was really good. Andrew Garfield stars as a Mormon detective in the state of Utah in the '80s. He's investigating a gruesome murder. His partner is Gil Birmingham, the Native American leader from Yellowstone, and they both do a fantastic job in this series.

It digs into the lore of the Mormon faith a lot, and Garfield's character comes to question his faith throughout the show.

Have no interest in the rest, but The Old Man was GREAT. So much so, I was actually upset when I turned on the TV to watch Episode 8, only to find that Season 1 was only seven episodes.

Quite the buzzkill.

I'm through the end of season 2 of The Great and it's one of my favorite shows of the last few years. It's a satirical take on Catherine the Great coming into power in Russia. It's technically a period piece, but is done in a very modern fashion. It's bawdy in the best possible way.

Elle Fanning and Nicholas Holt are fantastic, as well as the rest of the cast, imo.

You're missing out on some great TV that just was up for a ton of Emmys.

These are the only two I haven’t seen. All the others are great shows. Not a bad show on the list.

I’ve watched several Hulu/FX shows, but not one of the ones you mentioned.

The Handmaid's Tale has apparently fallen off a cliff after season 2. I haven't watched past that but I've heard it isn't great.
