Is there any upcoming gun legislation on the agenda?

What’s with all of these shootings all of sudden?
Where there others during the election the media didn’t bother to cover?

Have see. That the ATF will announce a ban of pistol braces next month.

You have to pass the bill to find out what's inside.

Not much in the news about legislation, but if there was some push from the gun control groups it would be widely reported.
America is a gun cult country.
Too many guns.
Routine mass shootings will continue.
The gun worshipers want more innocent bloodshed across the country.
It helps them keep gun sales up.

it seems to be more of a blue state problem than an ak problem

You want to do something about gun violence, then enforce the laws that are in place. Bet you $100 police knew something about this guy that shot up the Club Q just like 99% of the other mass shootings.

ETA - just read on Red State Morning that the shooter was non-binary (whatever the hell that means) and did the shoot em up due to years of harassment online.

Biden has been calling for a ban for about six weeks now. Plus, the laptop information is beginning to come out, and it links him to all these deals with China. Even CBS confirmed it’s existence- two years too late, but better late than never.

They are always looking to pass more gun control. Fortunately DC is gridlocked and will remain that way unless they do away with the Senate filibuster and jam everything through before the new Congress is seated.
POTATUS has never shut up about a ban on 'assault weapons' and 'ghost guns'. Neither of which should stand up to SCOTUS scrutiny post Bruen ruling (Not that this would stop them). So they will continue to try to use ATF regulations as laws.

My sources are saying they are attempting to attach HR1808 (assault weapon ban) to the disrespect marriage bill. They only have two weeks left so I don't see it happening

Republicans, as always, are ready to cave, so likely to happen this Congress. Cornyn’s body is ready for the capitulation.

I thought they already solved the problem a few months ago.

This is usually caused by a mentally ill individual. Or someone who has already shown a violent tendency.
Back in the 80's or so America changed the way we deal with the mentally ill. Prior to this change we had state homes and facilities to keep these people in. Then in the name of decency we closed these places and put these people into society. It wasn't really done for decency, but because politicians wanted to spend that money elsewhere.
Today in addition to the mentally ill roaming around the rest of us we have judges and district attorneys who dont lock up violent people awaiting their trial. Hell many times they dont even require bail. Then these animals are let out and commit another crime.
If we want these mass murders to end we need to reestablish secure mental hospitals and require violent criminals to be held without bail. Expedite the court dates and if found guilty give them very long prison times.
If all guns magically disappeared, these criminals would find other ways to kill. Like use a car and drive over a bunch of people...

Pretty sure the Democrats’ efforts to impose draconian laws regarding ownership, possession, and use of firearms is what drives up gun and ammo sales. It happened under Obama; cranked up as COVID took off; then spiraled out of control after Biden was “elected.”
The common denominator is the Left. I never had much trouble buying common ammunition during Trump’s presidency. Now I’m having to overpay and search all over the internet for what used to be abundantly available at a reasonable price.
The Left is complicit in this bloodshed you speak of, which is largely attributable to “gun-free” zones and ridiculous laws concerning ownership, possession, transporting, permits, etc.

legislation merely stifles interest in firearms by making them hard to acquire and use. which is certainly one hand of the equation. while they're passing bogus laws they are also perpetrating crimes that "prove" the laws don't work. so in 5 years they can be like.. hey. look. we tried.. but it didn't work. so the guns gotta go.

What legislation is this Hank? I know you are a miserably dishonest and poorly educated twit, especially when it comes to the 2A and gun laws at any level, but I would like to see you support this claim of opposition as well as what mechanism in such proposals have evidence of effectiveness.

This is exactly the case, nothing drives gun and ammo sales like Democrats' threats to impose legislation against the Second Amendment. The data proves this but gun-control advocates are a dishonest lot and will never admit they are the problem.
