I know, I know,

" The bag is set" blah, blah, blah...

Can't say anything bad about the TSR2 Driver other than it didn't fit me eye, so I took it back.

The AeroJet sits nice, it's long and so forgiving. I can hit it all over the face and get good results.

AeroJet with a Ventus Red TR shaft is now my go to club.

* I love the TSR2 fairway woods and they are staying in the bag.

I’ve yet to hear anyone say a bad word about the Aerojet. Need to go hit one.

I hit one a few weeks ago a guy had on the range at PP. I couldn’t get it to draw. Probably had the wrong shaft but it was very consistent.

It's a really good driver. Hit it on a monitor and liked it but don't remember which shaft was in it.

After years of fighting the hook, I like hitting it dead straight now.

I'm the first to admit that I don't hit it dead center of the face every time now.

It's nice to know a miss won't kill me now.

I’ve had one for what feels like a year now. It’s incredible.

I got my LTDx in 2022.

Sort of hoping I get 4 or 5 years out of it.

Should I upgrade anyway?

If you are hitting it great, I wouldn't. The LTDX is a fine club.

Not sure why but the TSR2 always look real flat to me, even I adjusted it. I'm sure it's just optical because the TSR3 doesn't.

Played 9 yesterday.

Last drive was the best.

I’m thinking about a shorter shaft to maybe reduce dispersion by increasing the squareness of contact.

I’m liking my Sub70 irons. They are a little longer than my PXG 0211s from 2020.
A friend is gaming those now. He’s playing well. He just wanted to see if 95gm regular flex steel shafts suit his swing. He likes them so far.

Be careful, a shorter shaft can mess with your swing weight.

If I was you I would put a piece of duct tape on your existing grip at the butt to the width of the length you want to try.

Then play a round or two gripping below the duct tape and see if your accuracy improves.

If it does, then you can re-shaft and add a tip weight if needed to get your desired swing weight.

You can order weights for your driver from Amazon that will fix the swing weight issues from a shorter shaft length.

I have messed around with shorter shafts, and done it where I was meticulous about SW and have done it with no regard for it. It really doesn't matter for me.

You'll get use to the difference quickly if you're hitting the short grass more.

I cut the shaft length 1” on a Ventus Black and after a few adjustments on the range, it has really helped my dispersion. Haven’t lost any distance, I’d say it has had the opposite effect. I’m striking it better and my average has increased. I can’t hit it as long as a full length driver, but I have way fewer miss hits.

Have a brand new Pars an Stripes
Speedzone. Have never hit it in 8 months. It looks so nice in the bag though. Maybe one day this year. Working sucks
